Frequently asked questions

What is in the SKT6002PR2 service kit?

It groups the filters and sealing washers for a routine 200 TDi service under one part number: oil filter ERR3340, air filter NTC6660, a fuel filter and two sump plug sealing washers. That covers a full filter change and oil drain from a single order.

Which vehicles does this 200 TDi kit fit?

It is listed for the Defender fitted with the 200 TDi engine, which ran from 1989 to 1994. The 200 TDi and the later 300 TDi use different filters, so check which engine is in your Defender before ordering rather than going by the registration year.

Why are there two sump plug sealing washers?

The kit includes two sealing washers, one of which is the ETC7398 copper washer. A copper washer is a crush fitting that seals as it deforms, which is why it is renewed at every oil change rather than reused. Old washers are the usual cause of a weeping sump plug.

Is engine oil included?

No. The kit covers the filters and the sump plug sealing washers only, so engine oil is ordered separately. Check the oil capacity for your 200 TDi Defender in the handbook so you buy enough to complete the change.
