Frequently asked questions

What does the T2R5102-G front lower wishbone do?
The front lower wishbone is the bottom control arm of the F-TYPE (X152) front suspension. It locates the base of the hub carrier through two inboard bushes and carries the lower ball joint, controlling camber and castor as the wheel moves.
Does this wishbone fit an AWD F-TYPE?
This is the RWD front lower wishbone for the F-TYPE (X152). All-wheel-drive cars use a different arm to clear the driveshaft, so confirm your car is rear-wheel drive before ordering.
What are the signs a front wishbone needs replacing?
Knocking over bumps, uneven front tyre wear and vague steering are common signs of worn wishbone bushes or a tired ball joint on the F-TYPE. A failed ball joint is a safety concern, so worn front arms shouldn't be left.
Do I need one or two wishbones?
This is a single front lower wishbone. Suspension is usually renewed in pairs so the car sits and steers evenly, so many owners replace the left and right arms together even when only one has failed.
