Dit rubber past in het voorste uiteinde van de bovenste achterwielophangingsarm, op het bevestigingspunt van het chassis subframe. Het zorgt voor een flexibele bevestigingsinterface tussen de arm en het subframe, absorbeert trillingen en maakt gecontroleerde armbeweging mogelijk tijdens de veerweg. Slijtage of scheuren op deze plaats leidt tot een onnauwkeurige positionering van de achteras, verhoogde geluidsoverdracht via het subframe en klappen van de wielophanging.
