Dit drukvat (accumulator) slaat een reserve aan gecomprimeerde lucht op, waardoor het EAS-systeem de luchtveren snel kan opblazen als reactie op hoogteverstellingscommando's zonder te hoeven wachten tot de compressor druk opbouwt vanuit de omgeving.
