What does the exhaust gas pressure sensor do?
The LR133155 exhaust gas pressure sensor measures exhaust backpressure on the 3.0L AJ20D6 Ingenium six-cylinder diesel and reports it to the engine control module. The ECM uses the signal to meter EGR flow and monitor soot loading across the diesel particulate filter.
What are the symptoms of a failed exhaust gas pressure sensor?
A drifting or failed sensor commonly presents as incorrect EGR metering, reduced power and stored emissions fault codes on the 3.0 AJ20D6 diesel. Replace it if you have EGR or DPF-related codes traced to the pressure signal.
Which vehicles does the LR133155 sensor fit?
It fits the 3.0L AJ20D6 diesel in the Discovery 5, New Defender, Range Rover L405 and L460, Range Rover Sport L494 and L461, and Velar. Diesel applications only; petrol engines don't use this sensor.
