Frequently asked questions

What are these 3 degree radius arm bushes for?
These are front radius arm bushes with 3 degree caster correction, sold as a pair. They locate the front radius arms to the chassis and, with the built-in 3 degree angle, restore caster geometry on lifted Land Rovers to improve steering feel and self-centring.
What does the 3 degree caster correction do?
The 3 degree caster correction offsets the geometry change caused by a suspension lift. When a Defender or Range Rover Classic is raised, caster angle drops, which harms straight-line stability. These bushes typically bring caster back toward standard for better on-road steering.
Which vehicles do these radius arm bushes fit?
These wide 45mm radius arm bushes fit Land Rover Defender 1986 to 2016, Discovery 1 1989 to 1998 and Range Rover Classic 1970 to 1994. They're sold as a pair. Check your radius arm and chassis mount type against the bush before ordering.
How do I know when radius arm bushes need replacing?
Worn radius arm bushes typically cause vague steering, clunks over bumps and uneven front tyre wear on a Land Rover. Perished or cracked rubber is a sign they need replacing. Fitting new bushes usually needs a press or bush tool and often a wheel alignment afterwards.
