Frequently asked questions

What is the Terrafirma 2" Pro Sport Maxi Dislocation Kit used for?
This is a heavier-duty version of Terrafirma's 2 inch rear dislocation kit, giving the rear axle more downtravel for off-road articulation. It fits the Defender 90, Discovery 1, and Range Rover Classic.
What's the difference between the Mini and Maxi Pro Sport dislocation kits?
The Maxi kit uses a larger dislocation cone than the Mini version for greater rear axle downtravel at the same 2 inch lift height. Both fit the same short-wheelbase Defender 90, Discovery 1, and Range Rover Classic rear suspension.
How many kits do I need?
One kit covers the rear axle of a single vehicle, it's sold as a complete set rather than per corner.
Why would the dislocation cones need replacing?
The rubber cones typically wear or perish faster than standard bump stops since they're designed to compress further under hard off-road use. Cracking, splitting, or reduced cushioning under load are signs it's time to replace them.
