What does this turbocharger O-ring seal?
This O-ring seals the upper turbocharger-to-pipe joint on the 2.0L I4 diesel (AJ200) engine, measuring 14.3 x 2.4mm. It keeps the union between the turbocharger and its connecting pipe leak-tight on the turbo lubrication and cooling circuit. It fits the Defender 2020+, Discovery 5, Discovery Sport, Range Rover Sport L494, Evoque and Velar.
What size is this O-ring?
This O-ring is 14.3 x 2.4mm and seals the upper turbocharger-to-pipe connection on the AJ200 diesel engine. Because it is a specific size for that joint, matching the correct O-ring matters to keep the turbo oil and coolant circuit sealed.
Should this O-ring be renewed when disturbed?
