What is the LR075366 cylinder head bolt for?
The LR075366 cylinder head bolt clamps the cylinder head to the engine block, holding the head and head gasket sealed against combustion and coolant pressure. It's fitted to the 2.2-litre Td4/DW12 turbo diesel engine used in the Discovery Sport, Freelander 2 and Range Rover Evoque.
How many cylinder head bolts are needed per engine?
Ten cylinder head bolts are required per cylinder head on the 2.2-litre Td4/DW12 engine. They're supplied individually, so order a quantity of ten for a complete head refit. Replace the full set rather than mixing old and new bolts.
Can cylinder head bolts be reused?
No, cylinder head bolts on this 2.2 diesel are typically torque-to-yield (stretch) bolts and should be replaced every time the head is removed. Reused bolts can't guarantee correct clamping load, risking head gasket failure. Fit a new set of ten and torque to the workshop manual specification.
