What is the LR093848LR sealing washer for?
The LR093848LR is the fuel injector sealing washer for Ingenium diesel engines (2.0L and 3.0L AJ20/AJ21). It seats where the injector meets the cylinder head and seals against combustion pressure. Fitted to diesel engines only.
Can the injector sealing washer be reused?
No, these sealing washers are single-use. Fit a new washer every time an injector is removed or refitted. A reused washer can fail to seal and leak combustion gas at the injector.
How many washers are needed for an injector job?
Typically one washer per injector. A four-cylinder Ingenium diesel usually needs four and a six-cylinder six. Replace every washer that is disturbed, not just the faulty one.
Which vehicles does this washer fit?
It fits diesel Ingenium engines on the New Defender (L663), Discovery 5, Discovery Sport, Range Rover L460 and L405, Range Rover Sport L461 and L494, Evoque L538 and L551, and Velar. Confirm your engine is diesel.
