Uitlaatbevestiging - Rubber is een rubberen isolator in het uitlaatophangsysteem, gemonteerd tussen de uitlaatassemblage en de onderkant van het voertuig.

De bevestiging absorbeert trillingen en thermische bewegingen die door het uitlaatsysteem worden gegenereerd, waardoor ruis en spanning niet worden overgedragen naar de carrosseriestructuur. Het positioneert de geluiddemper en het achterste pijpstuk, houdt ze op hun plaats terwijl gecontroleerde flexibiliteit mogelijk is tijdens motor- en chassisbewegingen.
