Uitlaatsteun - Rubber is een rubberen isolator in het uitlaatsysteem, gemonteerd tussen de uitlaatassemblage en de onderkant van het voertuig.

De steun absorbeert trillingen en thermische bewegingen die door het uitlaatsysteem worden gegenereerd, waardoor geluid en spanning niet naar de carrosseriestructuur worden overgebracht. Het positioneert de demper en het achterste pijpstuk, houdt ze op hun plaats en maakt gecontroleerde flexibiliteit mogelijk tijdens motor- en chassisbewegingen.
