Injectorbus voor de VM 2.4L en 2.5L 4-cilinder turbodieselmotor in de Range Rover Classic.

Deze bus wordt in de cilinderkop gemonteerd om elke brandstofinjector in de verbrandingskameruitsparing te plaatsen en af te dichten. Het zorgt voor de juiste diepte van de injectoruitsteek en voorkomt lekkage van verbrandingsgas rond het injectorhuis. Gebruikt in de VM dieselbrandstofinjectie-assemblage die is gemonteerd op Range Rover Classic-modellen geproduceerd tussen 1986 en 1994.

The Injector Bush, or injector shroud, locates and seals each fuel injector where it sits in the cylinder head of the VM 2.4L and 2.5L turbo diesel. It sets the correct injector protrusion depth and stops combustion gases leaking around the injector body.

The VM diesel is a 4-cylinder engine, so a full set typically needs four injector bushes, one per injector. Many fit fresh bushes to all cylinders together when the injectors are out for overhaul.
