Frequently asked questions

What is the ARB Intensity 21 LED Spot used for?

The ARB Intensity 21 LED Spot is an auxiliary LED driving light with a spot beam, made by ARB. The spot optic throws a narrow, concentrated beam far down the road or track, typically used to extend visibility at speed. It mounts to a bull bar, light bar, or roof rack bracket.

What's the difference between the spot and flood versions?

The spot version throws a tight, long-range beam, while the flood version spreads light wide and close. Many setups pair spot and flood units so you get both distance and spread. Pick the spot for seeing far ahead on open tracks.

How many spot lights are typically needed?

Spot lights are usually fitted in pairs, or mixed with flood units across a bar. A single Intensity spot adds long-range throw to an existing setup. The right number depends on your mounting bar width and beam goals.

What's needed to fit the ARB Intensity spot light?

Fitting the spot light typically needs a mounting bracket or bar, a wiring loom with relay and switch, and a fused 12V feed. It's usually within reach of a confident DIY fitter. Check auxiliary lighting rules for road use in your area.
