Dorpelbeschermer is een aluminium 5-traans traanplaatbeschermer die de dorpel onder de deuren beschermt tegen steenslag, schaafplekken en stootschade.

Het bedekt de buitenste dorpel over de gehele lengte van de carrosserie, en beschermt het paneel tegen opspattende stenen en tegen slijtage wanneer inzittenden in- en uitstappen, en geeft een gripvast oppervlak onder de voet.
