Siliconen Koelslangenset - vervangende koelslangen voor het motorkoelsysteem, voor de 300 TDi diesel.

Deze driedelige set vervangt de hoofkoelslangen die tussen de motor, radiator en waterpomp lopen. De siliconen constructie is bestand tegen hogere temperaturen en gaat langer mee dan het originele gevormde rubber, en weerstaat het uitdrogen en zachter worden dat rubberen slangen doet verouderen. Uitgevoerd in blauw.

De set bestaat uit de bovenste radiatorslang, de onderste radiatorslang en de waterpompslang.

Siliconenslangen zijn iets dikker dan de standaardslangen, dus de originele klemmen moeten mogelijk worden vervangen door grotere.

What does the BA 2357B silicone hose kit include?
The BA 2357B is a three-piece silicone coolant hose kit for the Land Rover Defender 300TDi. It comprises the top radiator hose, the bottom radiator hose and the water pump hose, replacing the main coolant hoses that run between the engine, radiator and water pump. It's finished in blue.
Why upgrade to silicone coolant hoses on a 300TDi?
Silicone coolant hoses tolerate higher temperatures and last longer than the original moulded rubber, resisting the perishing and softening that ages rubber hoses over time. On a Defender 300TDi, this kit replaces all three main hoses at once, so the whole cooling circuit gets the same durable upgrade.
Do I need new hose clamps with this silicone kit?
Possibly. Silicone hoses are slightly thicker than the standard hoses, so the original clamps may not close far enough and might need replacing with larger ones. Check your existing clamps against the new hoses on the Defender 300TDi when fitting, and have larger clamps ready in case.
What are the signs these coolant hoses need replacing?
Swelling, cracking, soft spots or coolant leaks are the main signs the coolant hoses need replacing on a 300TDi. Perished or softened hoses can lose coolant and cause overheating. Replacing all three main hoses as a kit means the top, bottom and water pump hoses are renewed together.
