Frequently asked questions

What is the BTR1570 quarter window glass?

The BTR1570 is a fixed pane of glazing that fits into the bodyside quarter window aperture. Unlike the door glass, it doesn't wind up or down, it's bonded or sealed permanently in place.

Where is the quarter window glass located on the vehicle?

Quarter glass typically sits in the fixed panel next to the main door window, filling the smaller bodyside aperture that doesn't open. Its exact position depends on which quarter panel it's fitted to.

Can I fit the quarter window glass myself?

Fitting fixed quarter glass typically involves removing trim panels and re-sealing the glass into the aperture, so it's usually treated as a specialist glazing job rather than a straightforward DIY task.
