Afdekstrip dakpaneel - Boven is de vergrendelende afdekstrip voor het tweedelige afdichtingssysteem voor vaste ramen dat wordt gebruikt op de Alpine dakbeglazing.

Nadat het glas is geplaatst, wordt de strip in de groef van de hoofd-rubberen raamafdichting gedrukt, waardoor deze uitzet en zowel de glasrand als de carrosserieopening vastgrijpt. Dit vergrendelt het glas in positie en houdt de verbinding weerbestendig. Dit is alleen de afdekstrip; de hoofd-rubberen raamafdichting is een apart onderdeel.
