Inlaatspruitstukpakking - Diesel voor de 2.25L en 2.5L 4-cilinder dieselmotor.

Deze pakking, geplaatst tussen het inlaatspruitstuk en de cilinderkop, zorgt voor een luchtdichte afdichting die nodig is voor een correcte luchtstroom naar de verbrandingskamers. Een verslechterde of defecte pakking op dit punt kan ongecontroleerde lucht in de inlaat laten komen, waardoor de verbrandingsefficiëntie wordt verstoord en de motor ruw loopt of minder vermogen levert. Vervanging herstelt het afgedichte inlaatpad en de correcte motorademhaling.

What does the ETC7750G manifold gasket do?
The ETC7750G inlet manifold gasket seals the joint between the inlet manifold and cylinder head, keeping the intake air-tight on the 4-cylinder diesel engines. It fits the 2.25L diesel in the Series 2/3 and the 2.5L NA and turbo diesel in the Defender up to 2016.
What are the signs of a failed inlet manifold gasket?
A failed inlet manifold gasket lets unmetered air bypass the intake, causing rough running, poor idle and reduced performance. On these diesels the gasket typically hardens and leaks with age and heat cycling, so it's renewed whenever the manifold is removed.
Can the ETC7750G gasket be reused?
No, replace the manifold gasket every time the inlet manifold is removed, as a reused gasket rarely reseals reliably. Fitting needs basic hand tools once the manifold is off. Clean both mating faces before fitting the new gasket.
