Tussenasoverbrenging voor het tandwielstelsel van de LT230-tussenbak.

De tussenasoverbrenging zit op de tussenas van de tussenbak en grijpt in op het ingangstandwiel, waardoor de aandrijving naar de voorste en achterste uitgaande assen wordt overgebracht. Het bevat de tandwieltanden voor zowel de hoge als de lage gearing, wat de reductie levert die is geselecteerd door het bereikveranderingsmechanisme.

Een correct ingrijpend tussentandwiel is essentieel voor een stille, dragende werking van de tussenbak; slijtage of beschadiging hier is een veelvoorkomende oorzaak van het jankende geluid van de tussenbak onder belasting.
