What's included in the GA3169P swivel repair kit?
The GA3169P renews the pin, Railko bush, thrust washer, bearing, shims and oil seal in the early Series 2 swivel housing, without replacing the housing itself. Your existing swivel housing must still be serviceable.
How many GA3169P kits are needed?
One kit covers a single swivel housing, so a full front axle service needs two GA3169P kits.
Will the GA3169P fit a Series 2A or Series 3 Land Rover?
No. It's built only for the Series 2's top-mounted steering arm swivel design. Series 2A and Series 3 use a different arrangement and aren't covered by this kit.
Can the original swivel housing be reused with this kit?
Yes, as long as it isn't cracked, worn at the pivot bores or has a damaged pin bearing seat. If the housing itself is worn, the complete GA3169 kit with a new housing is the better choice.
