What is the GA4791 door sill for?
The GA4791 is a stainless steel outer sill panel that covers the sill rail below the front door opening, supplied as a pair with fixings included. It's cut to clear the seat belt mounting points built into the sill, protecting the panel from wear, road spray and debris thrown up by the front wheels.
How do I know if I need the seat belt mount version?
The GA4791 is for vehicles WITH seat belt mounting points built into the sill, cut from 1.5mm 304 stainless steel. If your Defender or Series vehicle doesn't have sill-mounted seat belt anchors, you need the plain version (GA4790) instead.
Will the door seal fit the GA4791 sill without changes?
It might need adjusting. Where the door seal fits directly to the sill rail, the rail may require modification to seat correctly. Check the fit against your original sill before final installation.
