What does the GA7014 inlet manifold fitting kit include?
The GA7014 kit contains one EGR gasket, three lower injector seals, three injector O-rings, and three upper injector seals for the 3.0 litre TDV6 diesel engine. It renews every seal disturbed when the inlet manifold is removed and refitted. The inlet manifold itself is not included.
Why do all these seals need replacing together?
The inlet manifold sits directly over the injectors on one cylinder bank, so removing it breaks the upper and lower injector seals and the EGR joint at the manifold face all at once. Renewing them together in one kit avoids leaks reappearing after just one seal is replaced.
Does the GA7014 kit fit both engine banks?
Yes, the kit suits either the left-hand or right-hand cylinder bank on the 3.0 litre TDV6, since both banks use the same gasket and seal set. If you're renewing both banks, order two kits.
