Homokinetische (CV) Koppeling voor de aandrijving van de vooras, niet-ABS toepassingen. Zware uitvoering.

De homokinetische koppeling bevindt zich aan het uiteinde van de voorste aandrijfas in de fusee en brengt de aandrijving over naar het voorwiel, terwijl deze de stuurhoek opvangt, zodat het wiel tegelijkertijd kan draaien en aangedreven kan worden.

Geleverd als enkel de homokinetische koppeling - een aparte stubas is vereist om de aandrijfasmontage te voltooien.

What is the KAM330 CV joint used for?
The KAM330 CV joint sits at the outer end of the front halfshaft, inside the swivel housing. It transmits drive to the front wheel while letting the wheel steer, so the wheel can turn and pull at the same time. This is the non-ABS version.
Which Land Rovers does this non-ABS CV joint fit?
This non-ABS CV joint fits the Defender 1983-1994, Discovery 1 1989-1994 and Range Rover Classic up to 1994. It's for non-ABS front axles only, so check your hub type before ordering if your vehicle sits near the ABS changeover.
Do I need anything else to build up the halfshaft?
Yes. The KAM330 is supplied as the CV joint only, so you'll need a separate stub shaft to complete the front halfshaft assembly. The joint splines onto the shaft that carries drive out to the wheel hub.
What are the signs a front CV joint needs replacing?
A worn CV joint typically clicks or knocks on full steering lock, and a split boot lets grit and water into the joint, which speeds up wear. Left too long it can seize or fail, leaving the front wheel without drive.
