What does the LR002576PR rear suspension crosslink do?
The LR002576PR rear suspension crosslink is a lateral locating link in the rear multi-link suspension. It connects the rear subframe to the wheel knuckle, controlling lateral wheel position and holding rear wheel alignment under load. Fits the Freelander 2 and Range Rover Evoque L538.
How many rear crosslinks are needed per vehicle?
Two rear crosslinks are fitted per vehicle, one on each side. If you're replacing worn links it's common to do both sides together on the Freelander 2 or Evoque L538 so the rear suspension wears and behaves evenly.
What are the signs the rear crosslink needs replacing?
Signs include knocking or clunking from the rear suspension, wandering rear alignment and uneven rear tyre wear on the Freelander 2 or Evoque L538. These typically point to worn crosslink bushes. A wheel alignment is usually needed after replacement.
