De set herstelt de verbinding tussen het stuurhuis en het wegwiel, door de versleten kogelgewrichten die de stuurbeweging naar de stuurarm overbrengen te vervangen. Het monteren van nieuwe gewrichten verwijdert speling in de verbinding en herstelt de nauwkeurige stuurrespons.
