This overflow (bleed) hose links the radiator to the expansion tank on the 5.0 V8 petrol engine, carrying coolant and trapped air from the radiator bleed point during warm-up and filling.
Which vehicles does this overflow hose fit?
It fits the naturally aspirated 5.0 V8 petrol (AJ133) in the Discovery 4 (2010-2016) and Range Rover Sport L320 (2010-2013). NA petrol V8 only, not supercharged or diesel.
Are hose clips included?
Yes, this hose is supplied with clips. It runs from the radiator top bleed to the expansion tank in the 5.0 V8 cooling system.
When should the overflow hose be replaced?
Replace the overflow hose if it's perished, cracked or leaking. These hoses harden with age and heat on the 5.0 V8, and a split bleed hose causes coolant loss and poor bleeding.
