The LR022742LR seals the oil return (drain) tube where it meets the turbocharger on the 4.4L V8 diesel (TDV8). It keeps the joint oil-tight as pressurised oil drains from the turbo bearing housing back to the crankcase. It fits both the RH (primary) and LH (secondary) turbochargers.
Which vehicles does this turbo oil return gasket fit?
This gasket fits the 4.4L V8 diesel engine in the Range Rover L322, Range Rover L405, Range Rover Sport L320 and Range Rover Sport L494. It's specific to the TDV8 diesel, so it won't suit petrol or the smaller diesel engines in those ranges.
How many gaskets are needed when replacing the turbochargers?
