What are the LR133B-3 sill protectors?
The LR133B-3 sill protectors are a pair of 3mm aluminium chequer plate panels covering the outer sill below the door openings on the Land Rover Defender 130. They take the stone chipping, grit and scuffing that would otherwise wear the painted sill beneath.
Do these sill protectors fit any Defender?
These fit the Defender 130 (long-wheelbase) only. They don't fit the Defender 90 or 110, whose sill lengths differ. Confirm your Defender is the 130 before ordering. Supplied as a left and right pair.
What's the benefit of the 3mm thickness?
The 3mm gauge is the heavier of the two standard thicknesses. Being stiffer, it bridges minor existing dents and ripples in the sill and gives a flatter finished line than thinner plate. Supplied in a black finish.
