What does the PRC6029 electric seat switch do?
The PRC6029 electric seat switch controls the squab, or backrest, recline motor on the left-hand power seat. Pressing it tilts the seat back forwards or rearwards. It fits Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic models with electrically adjustable seats.
Which seat function does this switch control?
This switch operates the left-hand squab, the backrest angle, only. It doesn't control cushion height or the fore-aft slide. If your fault is with those movements you'll need a different switch, and note this is the LH side rather than the right-hand seat.
Does this fit both memory and non-memory seats?
On the Range Rover Classic the LH squab switch was used on both Memory Seat and Less Memory Seat variants from 1992 to 1994, and on electric seats without memory from 1986 to 1991. Check your seat type against the listing to confirm the match.
