Rechtsachter rijhoogtesensor binnen de luchtvering- en koplamphoogteregelsystemen.

Deze roterende positiesensor wordt gemonteerd aan de rechterachterwielophangingsarm en bewaakt de veerweg door de relatieve positie van de arm te volgen. Het signaal wordt naar de Electronic Air Suspension (EAS) ECU gevoerd om de juiste rijhoogte te handhaven, en tegelijkertijd naar de automatische koplamphoogteregeling om de Xenon-lichtbundelhoek aan te passen als reactie op veranderingen in de voertuigbelasting. Beide functies zijn afhankelijk van een nauwkeurig, gekalibreerd signaal van deze sensor.

Toegepast op voertuigen die zijn uitgerust met Xenon-koplampen, waar de achterste rijhoogtesensoren een dubbele rol spelen bij de regeling van de vering en de verlichting.
