The RTC6247 is the rear load (tail) door that closes the back of the body on the Land Rover Defender and Series 2 and 3. It hangs on the rear body hinges, carries the rear door latch, and is pre-drilled to accept a spare wheel carrier.
What does 'with spare wheel holes' mean on the RTC6247?
The RTC6247 comes pre-drilled with the mounting holes for a rear spare wheel carrier. If your Defender carries its spare on the rear door, this is the version you need. A door without the carrier holes is the choice if you don't run a rear-mounted spare.
Is the RTC6247 supplied glazed or unglazed?
The RTC6247 is supplied unglazed, without the window fitted. You'll transfer the glass, seal and trim from your old door or fit them separately. Factor that in before ordering.
