ABS Sensor - Rechtsvoor, onderdeel van het vierwielige antiblokkeerremsysteem.

De wielsnelheidssensor wordt op de naaf rechtsvoor gemonteerd en leest de voorbijgaande tanden van de exciter (reluctor)-ring af terwijl het wiel draait. Het stuurt het resulterende rotatiesnelheidssignaal naar de ABS-regeleenheid, die alle vier de wielen vergelijkt om een naderende blokkering te detecteren en de remdruk dienovereenkomstig aan te passen.

Een defecte of vervuilde sensor activeert doorgaans het ABS-waarschuwingslampje en schakelt de antiblokkeerfunctie op dat circuit uit.

What does the front right ABS sensor do?
The front right-hand ABS sensor is the wheel speed sensor that mounts at the right front hub. It reads the passing teeth of the exciter (reluctor) ring and feeds the wheel's rotational-speed signal to the ABS control unit, which detects impending lock-up and modulates brake pressure. This is a Wabco OEM sensor.
Which Range Rover does this ABS sensor fit?
This ABS sensor fits the Range Rover Classic with the 4-wheel anti-lock braking system, from VIN JA610294 onward. It's the right-hand front sensor specifically; the left-hand front and rear positions use separate sensors. Confirm your chassis number falls in range before ordering.
What are the symptoms of a failed ABS sensor?
A failed or contaminated ABS sensor commonly triggers the ABS warning lamp and disables anti-lock function on that circuit.
