Krukaspositiesensor voor het BMW M51D25 2.5L 6-cilinder dieselmotor managementsysteem.

De sensor, gemonteerd op het carter, bewaakt de rotatiepositie en snelheid van de krukas en stuurt dit signaal naar de motorregeleenheid om de brandstofinjectietiming te bepalen. Een defecte sensor veroorzaakt doorgaans moeilijk starten, overslaan van de motor of een niet-startende motor.
