Elke hoek is gemaakt van doorngebogen stalen buis met een geperforeerde stalen bovenplaat en een zwarte poedercoating. What are the rear step bumpers used for?
The rear step bumpers are a pair of skeleton corner bumperettes that bolt to the rear cross member. They protect the rear wings, lamps and corner panels from impact, improve the departure angle off-road, and double as a non-slip step at each rear corner.
Are they sold singly or as a pair?
These are sold as a pair, covering both rear corners, and come with the mounting hardware. You fit one bumperette to each rear corner of the cross member.
Do I need to drill the chassis to fit them?
No drilling is needed. The bumpers fix to the existing holes in the rear cross member using the supplied hardware, so hand tools are typically all that's required. They're a Terrafirma part for the Defender.
