What is the TF050 front bumper?
The TF050 is a heavy-duty 5mm steel front bumper for the Land Rover Defender up to 2016, replacing the standard front bumper. The steel is powder-coated for corrosion resistance. It's the straight, non-tapered design that bolts to the front chassis.
What's the difference between the TF050 and the TF055 bumpers?
The TF050 is the straight 5mm steel front bumper, while the TF055 has a tapered profile that improves the front approach angle. The TF055WRP adds chassis recovery points and a centre towing pin. All three fit the Defender up to 2016. Choose the TF050 if you don't need the tapered shape or recovery points.
Is the TF050 bumper protected against rust?
Yes. The TF050's 5mm steel construction is powder-coated for corrosion resistance. As with any steel bumper, stone chips that break the coating can be touched up to keep the surface protected. It bolts on as a direct replacement for the standard Defender front bumper.
