De slangen transporteren onder druk staande laadlucht tussen de turbocompressor, de intercooler en het inlaatspruitstuk. Elk is gevormd uit siliconen versterkt met een polyestervlechtwerk met hoge treksterkte, met een dikkere wand dan de standaard rubberen slang en een continu bedrijfstemperatuurbereik van -40°C tot +180°C, zodat het bestand is tegen de boostdruk en de hitte onder de motorkap die ervoor zorgen dat originele slangen vergaan en scheuren.

What is the TF735 silicone intercooler hose kit for?
The TF735 is a four-hose silicone set that replaces the charge-air hoses on the 200TDi 2.5 litre turbo diesel. The hoses carry pressurised air between the turbocharger, intercooler and inlet manifold. The braided silicone resists the heat and boost pressure that make original rubber hoses perish.
Why do 200TDi intercooler hoses split?
200TDi intercooler hoses split because the original rubber hardens under constant boost pressure and engine-bay heat, then cracks. A split hose typically causes boost loss, black smoke and poor pulling power. The TF735 silicone hoses use a thicker wall and braid reinforcement, so they resist perishing.
Which Defender does the TF735 hose kit fit?
The TF735 kit fits the Land Rover Defender with the 200TDi engine, typically the 1990 to 1994 build before the 300TDi replaced it. Confirm your engine is the 200TDi rather than the later 300TDi, since the charge-air hose layout differs between them.
