What is the rope hook (304797) for?
The rope hook is a securing hook for the canvas hood, or soft top. The hood tie-down rope passes around it to hold the canvas down to the body. It fits the Land Rover Series 2 and 3 and Defender up to 2016 soft top and truck cab. Supplied as a single hook.
How many rope hooks does a soft top need?
A soft top uses several rope hooks spaced around the body to tension the canvas evenly, so count the positions on your vehicle before ordering. They're sold individually. Renewing the full set at once keeps the hood pulled down evenly and looking tidy.
