Frequently asked questions

What is the Extension Valance (ALR3029) and what does it do?
The Extension Valance is a lower body panel that closes off the wheelarch and valance section on the Land Rover Discovery 1 (1989-1998). It bolts to the existing valance structure to restore the panel line and provide splash protection at the lower edge of the body.
Where on the vehicle does this valance fit?
This valance fits the lower body of the Discovery 1, typically at the wheelarch and valance section where the panel meets the sill and arch. It closes off the gap and shields the bodywork from mud and road spray at the lower edge.
How do I confirm ALR3029 fits my Discovery 1?
ALR3029 fits the Land Rover Discovery 1 (1989-1998) within VIN range FA393361 to WA799999. Check your VIN against that range to confirm, as later build changes can affect the panel that suits your vehicle.
