Frequently asked questions

What are the LR008375 Fire & Ice side steps?

The LR008375 Fire & Ice side steps are a matched left- and right-hand pair of tubular runners that bolt to the sill and chassis mounting points. They give a lower step for getting in and out and add protection to the lower sills. Built from powder-coated black steel tube with bright silver capping.

Which Defender do these Fire & Ice side steps fit?

These side steps fit the Defender 110 Station Wagon from 2007 to 2016, from VIN 7A000001. They're styled for the 110 five-door body, so check your VIN and confirm you have the 110 Station Wagon before ordering, as other Defender bodies use different runners.

Is this a complete pair, or do I need two sets?

This is supplied as a complete matched pair covering both sides of the vehicle, with fixings and fitting instructions included. You don't need a second set. One kit fits the full length of both lower sills.

Can these side steps be fitted at home?

Yes, these side steps typically bolt on at home using the supplied fixings and instructions, attaching to existing sill and chassis mounting points. Basic hand tools are usually enough. It's easier with two people to hold each runner in place while the bolts are started.
