The PRC7918 is a coolant temperature transducer for the 3.9L V8 EFI petrol engine. It threads into the coolant passage at the inlet manifold and reports coolant temperature to the engine control unit, which uses the signal to enrich fuelling during warm-up and correct the mixture at operating temperature.
Which models use this coolant temperature sensor?
This coolant temperature transducer fits the Range Rover Classic and Discovery 1 with the 3.9L V8 EFI petrol engine. On the Classic it mounts to the inlet manifold coolant passage. Confirm your engine is the 3.9 V8 EFI before ordering.
