The PRC2735R is the electrical switch unit that mounts to the base of the steering column lock in the ignition and starting circuit, for diesel applications. It's the switch body only, driven by the lock barrel to distribute battery supply to the ignition, heater and starter circuits as the key turns.

Which Defender does this ignition switch fit?

This ignition and starter switch fits the Defender up to 2016 with the 2.5 four-cylinder naturally aspirated or turbo diesel engine, up to VIN LA932971. Confirm your vehicle falls before that VIN break before ordering, as later columns use a different switch.

Does this include the steering column lock?

No, this is the switch body only. The matching steering column lock assembly is sold separately. Order the lock as well if your barrel is worn or the key no longer turns cleanly, since the switch alone won't cure a fault in the lock mechanism.
