Wisserrelais is een 5-polig minirelais dat in het wisserstuurcircuit wordt gebruikt om de voeding van de wisser­motor te schakelen.

De vijfpolige lay-out biedt een wisselcontactset (SPDT), die zowel een normaal open als een normaal gesloten uitgang biedt. Twee aansluitingen voeden de stuurspoel; het bekrachtigen van de spoel brengt het gemeenschappelijke contact over van de normaal gesloten aansluiting naar de normaal open aansluiting. Deze schakelactie ondersteunt ruitenwisserparkeerstand en intermitterende werking, waarbij het circuit de stroom tussen twee toestanden moet routeren.

De compacte miniafmetingen passen in de standaardrelaissokken die in de zekeringkast en relaisdragers worden gebruikt.
