EGR afdichtingskit voor de Td5 2.5L diesel, gebruikt om de uitlaatgasrecirculatie (EGR)-klep van het inlaatspruitstuk te verwijderen en de EGR-toevoer af te dichten. Wanneer de klep is verwijderd, worden uitlaatgassen niet langer teruggeleid in de inlaatlading.

De kit vervangt de EGR-klep door een afdichtingsplaat en levert een nieuwe intercoolerslangaansluiting om het inlaatkanaal opnieuw aan te sluiten waar de klep zat. Geleverd met de afdichtingsplaat, de intercoolerslangaansluiting, een pakking en de bevestigingsbouten.

What is the Td5 EGR blanking kit for?

The EGR blanking kit removes the exhaust gas recirculation valve from the inlet manifold on the Td5 2.5L diesel and seals off the EGR feed. With the valve gone, exhaust gas is no longer recirculated into the intake charge. It fits Td5 Defender and Discovery 2 models.

What's included in the kit?

The kit replaces the EGR valve with a blanking plate and supplies a new intercooler hose fitting to reconnect the intake tract where the valve sat. It comes with the blanking plate, the intercooler hose fitting, a gasket and the mounting bolts.

Which vehicles does the EGR blanking kit fit?

It fits the Td5 engine only, on the Defender from 1998 to 2006 and the Discovery 2 from 1998 to 2004. It won't suit the earlier 300Tdi or the later Puma diesels. Confirm your vehicle is a Td5 before ordering.
