Carterontluchtingsklep voor het carterventilatiesysteem van de 4.4L V8 benzinemotoren en 4.2L supercharged V8 benzinemotoren. Het reguleert de stroom van blow-by gassen uit het carter die terug in het inlaattraject worden gezogen.

Door deze gassen te doseren, zodat ze worden gerecirculeerd en opnieuw worden verbrand in de verbrandingskamers, regelt de klep de carterdruk en maakt hij deel uit van de emissiebeheersing van de motor. Een defecte klep kan het stationaire toerental verstoren, het olieverbruik verhogen of drukgerelateerde olielekken veroorzaken.
