Koelvloeistof expansietankdop geschikt voor 1,4 bar, gemonteerd op de expansie (vul)tank van het motorkoelsysteem.

De dop dicht de expansietank af en reguleert de systeemdruk. Het houdt de koelvloeistof onder druk om het kookpunt te verhogen, terwijl een overdrukventiel overtollige druk afvoert zodra deze de 1,4 bar overschrijdt, ter bescherming van de tank en slangen. Een geïntegreerd vacuümventiel zuigt koelvloeistof terug uit de overloop als het systeem afkoelt en krimpt.
