Dop van het koelvloeistofexpansievat met een druk van 1,4 bar, gemonteerd op het expansievat (voorraadvat) van het motorkoelsysteem.

De dop sluit het expansievat af en regelt de systeemdruk. Het houdt de koelvloeistof onder druk om het kookpunt te verhogen, terwijl een overdrukventiel overtollige druk afvoert zodra deze de 1,4 bar overschrijdt, ter bescherming van het vat en de slangen.
