Luchtveer – Achter voor niveauregeling van de achterwielophanging die pneumatische luchtveren gebruikt in plaats van conventionele schroefveren.

Elke luchtveer wordt tussen de achteras en het chassis gemonteerd en vormt het flexibele pneumatische element dat het voertuiggewicht draagt. Deze wordt opgepompt en leeggelaten onder controle van het niveauregelingssysteem (SLS) om een constante rijhoogte achter te behouden naarmate de belading varieert. Een defecte luchtveer manifesteert zich doorgaans als een doorzakking aan de achterzijde, een continu draaiende compressor of verlies van niveauregeling.
