Keerring voorste krukas geplaatst in de voorste (distributie)deksel van de motor, die de krukashals afdicht waar deze uit het carter komt.

De afdichting loopt tegen de roterende krukasneus achter de krukaspoelie en trillingsdemper, en houdt motorolie vast aan de voorkant van het blok en vuil uit de voorste kap en distributieaandrijving. Gebruikt op TDV6, SDV6 en TDV8 dieselmotorconfiguraties.
