What does the EGR outlet pipe gasket do on a TDV6?
The EGR outlet pipe gasket seals the joint where the outlet pipe meets the EGR valve on the 2.7 TDV6 diesel. It keeps recirculated exhaust gas sealed within the EGR circuit. A failed gasket lets exhaust gas leak at the junction, which can trigger EGR faults and rough running.
